Michael Bay sparks Megan Fox reunion rumors

Written by . Published: February 22 2013

Director Michael Bay has sparked rumors of a reconciliation with Megan Fox by suggesting the actress has signed up to star in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake.

The actress famously likened the moviemaker to Adolf Hitler in 2009 after working with him on the first two Transformers films, and she was subsequently replaced by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the series' third installment in 2011.

Now, the pair has reportedly reconciled over a series of meetings and Bay has hinted they will be working together again.

Reports suggest Fox will star as April O'Neil, the human friend of the Ninja Turtles, in Bay's new film based on the popular comic books, which has spawned numerous TV series and film adaptations.

Bay told fans the news on his official website, writing, "TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles): We are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!"

The movie is still in the casting stage and the parts of the Ninja Turtles - Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael - will be filmed using the motion-capture technology made famous in Avatar.
