Mena Suvari inks tattoo on pal

American Pie star Mena Suvari picked up the needle and turned the tables on her tattoo artist after he challenged her to ink a design on his leg.

The actress took to her Twitter.com page on Thursday (20Sep12) to share photos of herself wearing rubber gloves and etching a crown design above tattoo artist Salvador Sanchez's knee.

She tweeted, "Oh my lord. Sal Sanchez is making me tattoo this crown I drew on him. LOL (laugh out loud). Here goes! Terrified."

She then posted a snap of the finished product, and added, "Okay, so I did it. Super crazy! Tattooed Sal Sanchez... Yikes."

Suvari is a big body art fan - she has a lion on the back of her neck, her lucky number 13 on the center of her chest as well as the lyrics Word Sound Power on her back.
