Melissa Benoist dating Supergirl co-star Chris Wood

Actress Melissa Benoist is reportedly dating her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood following her divorce from Blake Jenner last year (16).

The pair was spotted at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Sunday (19Mar17) and arrived in Vancouver, Canada, where the superhero series is filmed the following day (20Mar17). The 28-year-old and Wood were later spotted walking their dogs together in the snowy Canadian city.

Benoist plays the title character in the popular show, while Wood plays her love interest Mon El.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month (Feb17), Wood gushed about getting to work alongside the actress.

"(Melissa and I have) found this nice pocket for the characters to live in," Wood said. "It was just so easy to play and she's just so generous as an actress that she just keeps it rolling. She makes it easy."

Both stars are no stranger to on-set romances.

Benoist and her ex met while appearing on the series Glee together in 2012. She filed for divorce from Jenner in December (16), citing irreconcilable differences.

Meanwhile, Wood began dating co-star Hanna Mangan-Lawrence on the set of drama series Containment in 2015. The couple called it quits in January (17).
