Meghan Trainor still waiting to get paid for hit single

Pop star Meghan Trainor has been putting off plans to treat herself following the huge success of her debut single All About That Bass, because she has yet to receive any profits from sales of the hit song.

The singer has been promised a huge payout in April (15), but until then, Trainor will have to continue living modestly as she insists she is far from rich.

She tells Britain's Daily Star Sunday newspaper, "I haven't made any money yet. They say I will get a big fat check after nine months which will be in April so I hope that's right... People think I must be rich. But I'm not. I haven't been able to make a big purchase yet but I'm working on it."
