Meek Mill: 'Nicki Minaj and I are not getting married'

Rapper Meek Mill has dismissed rumors he is engaged to Nicki Minaj, insisting the two are not ready for marriage.

The Anaconda hitmaker teased fans with engagement news last month (Apr15), when she posted a photo of herself and Meek Mill, real name Robert Williams, on Instagram and appeared to show off a new piece of jewelry on her left ring finger.

She later posted a close-up picture of the large yellow heart diamond on the social media site.

Minaj kept her comments about the engagement news minimal, simply captioning her picture with yellow hearts and an emoji face with heart eyes.

Meanwhile, Mill's only comments regarding the reported engagement news came as a reply to a fan who suggested the rapper was "so f**king lucky", to which Mill answered, "I am".

However, he is now clearing up the reports, insisting the couple is not headed down the aisle anytime soon.

He tells The Fader magazine, "It's definitely real, but it ain't really time to get married yet. We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."

Williams also denied the engagement rumors when fellow rapper T.I. congratulated him, replying, "I ain't engaged."

However, T.I. responded, "You never asked her, 'Will you be my girlfriend?,' but she is your girlfriend. You may not have asked her, 'Will you marry me?,' but you are engaged... I've said my part, as long as you know what's going on."
