Pop rockers Mcfly have apologized to fans after their set at a London music event was cut short.
The British band was one of the star acts performing at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the U.K. capital on Friday night (19Jul13), but organisers of the show pulled the plug on their set after just five songs as the festival overran.
In a post on Twitter.com, guitarist/singer Tom Fletcher writes,
"Sorry to all who came to see us tonight. Wasn’t our fault but the
show was running over and they pulled us off. We would have gone
all night. Thanks so much for coming though and we hope you enjoyed
what they let us play."
