Matthew Mcconaughey's Brazilian wife Camila Alves is celebrating after officially becoming a U.S. citizen on Tuesday (04Aug15).
The Dallas Buyers Club star proudly posted a photo of himself alongside the model and accessories designer and their three children in a courthouse on his WhoSay page, and added the caption "congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today - another fellow and great American."
Alves shared the same snap on her Twitter account, adding, "Happy
to say I now hold an American passport! I have so much respect and
appreciation for this country. #newuscitizen".
The Oscar winner wed Alves in 2012.
