Oscar winner Matthew Mcconaughey is reportedly in talks to play Spider-Man villain The Green Goblin on the big screen.
Days after rumors suggesting Ender's Game star Asa Butterfield had become the frontrunner to become the latest superhero web-slinger, insiders claim producers want McConaughey for the new Marvel movie.
The role of Norman Osborn and his alter-ego The Green Goblin has
previously been played by Willem Dafoe, who played the characters
in the first two Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films in 2002 and
2004.
Chris Cooper portrayed Norman Osborn in last year's (14) The
Amazing Spider-Man 2.
