Matt Helders loves Miley Cyrus' Arctic Monkeys song

Arctic Monkeys rocker Matt Helders loves Miley Cyrus' cover of the band's track Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?, insisting her version is better than the original.

The controversial pop star performed the song as part of her MTV Unplugged Special in January (14) and introduced it into her Bangerz tour set when the European leg kicked off in London on Tuesday (06May14).

The British band's drummer Helders has now revealed he is a huge fan of her version.

When asked to name his favorite cover of an Arctic Monkeys song, he tells Australian radio station Triple J, "I think Miley Cyrus' version of Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?... She did some bits in there I wish we'd have done. She gets higher than we can... in the voice."
