Martinez to be a father

Dancing With The Stars champion J.R. Martinez is to become a first-time father - his girlfriend is pregnant.

The war hero-turned-actor, who triumphed ahead of Rob Kardashian and Ricki Lake to become winner of the dancing show last month (Nov11), is set to welcome a baby girl with partner Diana Gonzalez-Jones.

He tells People.com, "We found out just last week it's a girl and we are over the moon. Diana has a little baby bump now and it's the cutest thing ever. With the holidays coming up, this is the biggest and best gift we could get."

The couple, who met on the set of All My Children, are expecting the tot in the spring (12).
