Margot Robbie weds - report

Actress Margot Robbie has reportedly wed British filmmaker Tom Ackerley in her native Australia.

Multiple reports suggest the Suicide Squad star exchanged vows with Tom during a low-key ceremony in Byron Bay on the Gold Coast on Sunday (18Dec16).

Margot's mother, Sarie Kessler, is said to have given her away as the actress is estranged from her father Doug Robbie, while her sister Anya served as her maid of honor. Her brothers Lachlan and Cameron were also in attendance.

A representative for the 26-year-old beauty has yet to comment on the reports, but Margot was spotted arriving back home last week (ends16Dec16), wearing a telling T-shirt which featured the phrase, "Say 'I Do' Down Under".

The groom's brother James also posted some images on social media from inside the popular Harvest Newrybar venue, which is where the couple is thought to have held its wedding reception.

Margot, who splits her time between her home in London and Los Angeles, has been dating assistant director Tom since meeting in 2013 on the set of World War II drama Suite Francaise.

Their relationship has been the subject of much gossip over the past year, with previous reports suggesting they had wed in secret after stepping out wearing matching gold bands on their left ring fingers in the summer of 2015.

They were then said to have become engaged earlier this year (16), but in August (16), Margot insisted she was too busy to think about taking the next step in their relationship.

"I can't even get a day off at the moment so that stuff's gonna have to wait," she quipped to news show Extra at the time.

If the wedding reports are true, it'll be the first marriage for both Margot and her beau.
