Mandy Moore learning to fly

Actress/singer Mandy Moore has started taking flying lessons in a bid to land her pilot's license.

The A Walk to Remember star began her first session on Monday (24Jun13) and shared a photo of her experience with her Twitter.com fans.

She also revealed she has a close relationship with her tutor.

In a post on the social networking website, Moore writes, "Just logged my first hour of flight time as a student pilot! Bonus = my dad is my instructor!"
