Madonna has treated fans to an early release of six tracks from her forthcoming Rebel Heart album in response to a hack attack which led to her unfinished demos hitting the Internet.

The Like A Virgin hitmaker dubbed the act of cyber criminals "artistic rape" after some of her unfinished work began circulating online last month (Nov14).

She has now insisted the early release is "an early Christmas gift" to fans as she would prefer them to hear full versions instead of the unfinished tracks.

The songs are called Devil Pray, Ghosttown, Unapologetic B**ch, Illuminati, B**ch I'm Madonna, which features Nicki Minaj.

In a statement Madonna says, "I was hoping to release my new single Living For Love on Valentine's Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring. I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift."

She also wrote on her Twitter.com profile on Saturday (20Dec14), "X-mas is coming early! Pre order my album and download 6 tracks! Happy Holidays! #rebelheart."
