Madonna confirmed to perform at the Grammys

Superstar Madonna has been confirmed to perform at the Grammy Awards this weekend (26Jan14).

Last week (ends17Jan14), the Material Girl hitmaker was rumored to be taking to the stage alongside one of the night's nominees, prompting many to speculate that Madonna would be joining Beyonce for a showstopping girl power set.

It's still not clear who she'll be performing with on Sunday, but Grammy bosses have confirmed Madonna will be a part of the show.

Another last-minute addition to the line-up is Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong who will join country star Miranda Lambert for a tribute to Everly Brothers star Phil Everly, who passed away earlier this month (Jan14).

Previously announced performers for music's biggest night include Beyonce, Jay Z, Sara Bareilles, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Blake Shelton, while Daft Punk will perform with Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, and rock supergroup Chicago will be joined onstage by Robin Thicke.
