Lupita Nyong'o and Rihanna are down for a new movie idea inspired by a fan's tweet.

Twitter user @1800sadgal posted a 2014 fashion show photo of the Oscar-winning 12 Years a Slave star sitting next to Rihanna and pitched a new movie idea.

"Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and Lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan the scams," she wrote.

Both stars jumped on the tweet and it seems they're more than just interested in the movie idea.

Lupita wrote: "I'm down if you are @Rihanna," prompting the singer-turned-actress to respond: "I'm in Pit'z (nickname for Lupita)".

Another fan has posted the tweet correspondence to Selma director Ava Duvernay, suggesting she should consider jumping aboard the project, and the moviemaker is keen to get cameras rolling: "Lights set. Camera's up. Ready to call action for these #queens," she wrote.

And Rihanna is deadly serious - she has retweeted the fan's movie idea to Issa Rae, the creator and executive producer of TV hit Insecure.
