Ludacris' Fear Factor show renewed for season two

Ludacris' revamped stunt show Fear Factor has been picked up for a second season at Mtv.

Network bosses have renewed competition series and booked a run of 20 episodes.

Fear Factor originally ran on TV from 2001 to 2006 with comedian Joe Rogan as host. Ludacris came on board as host when MTV picked up the show last year (16).

"I'm looking forward to season two of Fear Factor and it being more ludicrous than the first season," Ludacris told Variety. "Pun intended."

During his first season, the rapper and actor buried a freaked-out female contestant alive and challenged a team-mate to solve clues to dig her out of the ground.

The stars of the show have also been asked to eat disgusting things and tackle their worst fears.
