Liv Tyler announces pregnancy

Actress Liv Tyler is pregnant with her third child.

The 38-year-old The Leftovers star made the announcement via her Instagram account on Friday (08Jan16).

"Oh my goodness it seems the stork is visiting us again !!!!" she captions a black and white picture of herself smiling on a beach, cradling her baby belly. "I am growing another little Tyler Gardner in my belly . our family is growing!!! So grateful. @davidgardner I love you".

Tyler and entertainment manager David Gardner welcomed their first child together, a son named Sailor, in February, 2015. She is also mother to 11-year-old Milo, who she shares with her rocker ex, Royston Langdon. Gardner has another child too, an eight-year-old son named Gray, with his ex-wife, British actress Davinia Taylor.

Gardner proposed to Tyler in 2014, but the pair only confirmed the engagement in November (15).

Tyler explained the entire proposal was so low-key, she was completely caught off guard by it.

"It was very sweet," she revealed in a pre-taped episode of talk show FABLife. "I was very surprised. I had no idea! And I didn't look very attractive!

"I was pregnant, and I was like, crying, and had just come out of the shower, and I was... unpacking," Tyler laughed. "It wasn't a very glamorous moment!"

Liv is the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and it seems the rocker will be delighted by the news she is pregnant again because he cut the umbilical cord after she gave birth to baby Sailor last year.

"I never in a million years thought I would give birth with my dad and my sister (there) - it was actually very sweet because they were laughing a lot and having fun," Liv smiled to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. "He did cut the umbilical cord. We have a picture and it's all the doctors and everything's very hygienic and his hand just looks insane in there with his long black claws, the painted black stripe (nails), huge skull rings..."
