Little Mix performance marred by flying bug

A flying insect caused a commotion during a Little Mix performance on Sunday (09Aug15) by prompting the girls to run around the stage and scream.

The Wings hitmakers were performing an acoustic set at an outdoor shopping centre for radio station Live 101.5 in Phoenix, Arizona when a large bug flew at Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards during their rendition of How Ya Doin'?

Video footage shows Thirlwall ducking out of the way and squealing as Edwards recoils while trying to continue singing. Leigh-Anne Pinnock runs off to perform from the side of the stage, and the bug then gets into Thirlwall's long hair, so Jesy Nelson adapts her lines to sing, "It's in Jade's hair, oh my God get it outta here!"

Thirlwall flips her hair and runs away as the girls all scatter around the stage, laughing and squealing while they continue to sing.

A cameraman then comes onstage to pick the bug out of the singer's hair, and the performance resumes as normal.
