Lindsay Lohan planning to revive music career

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan plans to record a new album while she is staying in London, according to a U.K report.

The Mean Girls star enjoyed pop fame briefly in 2004 and 2005 but her music career was derailed due to a number of personal problems, including a stint in rehab in 2006 and a string of run-ins with the law which culminated with 90 days in a rehab facility last year (13).

Lohan has since attempted to get her acting career back on track, with a role in upcoming thriller Inconceivable, a docu-series and a guest spot on TV comedy 2 Broke Girls, and according to Britain's The Sun newspaper, she also wants to revive her music career during her time staying in the U.K.

A source tells the publication, "Lindsay is staying in London and wants to record an album while she's here. She's been casting a net for collaborators and top of the list is a rapper to feature on her comeback single. In between partying, she's taking the music seriously."
