Lindsay Lohan's plans to create her own jewellery line have hit a hurdle - the designer she claimed to be working with has dismissed the collaboration as untrue.

The Mean Girls actress revealed she would be teaming up with Pascal Mouawad as his new style partner to design items for BeBe.

But Mouawad has denied the reports, insisting no such deal has taken place, according to CocoPerez.com.

He tells the website, "This is not happening."
