Lindsay Lohan 'hasn't spoken to dad about alleged pregnancy'

Lindsay Lohan is "on a total timeout", according to her close friend Hofit Golan.

The actress has been hitting headlines in recent days following a huge row with her fiance Egor Tarabasov and a post on Instagram hinting she is pregnant. Her father Michael came forward on Wednesday (27Jul16) claiming he believed Lindsay is with child because she told him so, but Hofit insists this simply isn't the case.

"She’s not been speaking to anyone, including her family," the socialite told Entertainment Tonight. "She’s been on a total timeout. Any interviews given about her are completely not true."

Hofit adds that anything said about the drama coming from anyone other than Lindsay is "pure speculation".

Amid Lindsay's timeout, the actress has been seeking solace among her girlfriends, holidaying with a group of pals including Hofit on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.

"Lindsay hasn’t even had her phone with her, except for taking some private photos," Hofit continued. "She's enjoying a lovely holiday and some downtime now in Europe with her girlfriends. She’s working her matter out privately, as she’s stated. Sometimes the best therapy is a pause."

A disturbing video emerged showing Lindsay and Egor in a heated row at the actress' London home in the early hours of Sunday morning. Lindsay accused Egor of trying to strangle her and neighbors called the police, but no arrests were made as cops ruled no crime had been committed.

Lindsay's rep recently told New York Post gossip column Page Six the couple were hoping to work on their relationship and Lindsay would like Egor to see a therapist about his anger management issues.

The Mean Girls star also returned to Instagram to apologize for sharing her relationship drama online and admitted she was hoping to fix her romance.
