Lily Allen tests friends with story leaks

British pop star Lily Allen often plants fake information with her pals to find out if they are leaking stories about her life.

The Smile singer was left furious when an invitation to her 2011 wedding emerged in public, giving away the date and location of the ceremony, and she vowed to track down the culprit.

Allen has revealed she now regularly tests members of her inner circle by giving away juicy titbits of fake information to see if it later turns up online.

She tells The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Australian radio station KIIS 1065, "Yeah many, many people (have leaked stories about me). When I have a suspicion, I just plant a story that's not true just with that one person and if it surfaces, then I know it's them and they are no longer in phone book."
