Lily Allen suffered medical scare at Glastonbury

Written by . Published: July 05 2015

British singer Lily Allen had to be treated by paramedics at Glastonbury Festival last month (Jun15) after collapsing.

The Smile star fell ill while partying in a VIP area at the music event in Somerset, England, and security guards called in paramedics to treat the singer after she fell down.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "She went outside to sit down on the grass. Gradually, she bent over, then slid forward to lie face-down in the filthy grass. Her friends started getting worried. They called the security guards over.

"Lily wasn't responding... The security guards called for paramedics to come over. They arrived within 10 minutes... Lily's husband came over and saw the paramedics treating her. The whole incident lasted about 45 minutes. Then the paramedics left and Sam (Cooper, Allen's husband) drove off with Lily."

Allen is not believed to have required hospital treatment after the incident.

A spokesperson for the singer says, "She is totally fine and had a great Glastonbury."
