Liam Payne begs fans to leave hotel over snake fears

Liam Payne issued a stern warning to One Direction fans camped outside the band's hotel in Australia on Tuesday (24Sep13) over fears about dangerous snakes in the area.

One Direction mania has taken over Australia and New Zealand, where the British-Irish boyband launched their 24-date tour with a sold-out gig in Adelaide on Monday (23Sep13).

Devotees have been flocking to the group's hotel to catch a glimpse of their idols, but Payne insists the area where they are hiding out is unsafe.

Taking to his Twitter.com page on Tuesday (24Sep13), he wrote, "Girls behind the hotel... please get out (of) the fields... there's a huge sign saying snake habitat... it's just not worth it... someone's gunna (sic) get hurt."

When followers failed to take heed of his message, the pop star added, "Are you not reading what I'm saying... it's a SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND."

It's not the first scare the boys have experienced on their trek Down Under - Payne and his bandmates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were ushered out of the Adelaide airport with a police guard on Saturday (21Sep13) after hundreds of fans prompted serious security fears.
