LEONA LEWIS' ALLEGED ATTACKER STILL NOT FIT FOR COURT

Leona Lewis' alleged attacker skipped a court hearing on Monday (23Nov09) because he was not fit to appear before a judge.

Peter Kowalczyk was arrested at a book signing last month (Oct09) when he allegedly punched the Bleeding Love hitmaker in the face during a promotional event in London.

He was sectioned under the U.K.'s Mental Health Act and subsequently missed a hearing on 26 October (09) for a charge of assault.

But the 29 year old was still considered too unwell to face court on Monday and he was not present or represented at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court.

The case has now been postponed until 14 December (09).
