Lenny Kravitz's actress daughter records album tracks in between filming
Lenny Kravitz's actress daughter Zoe looks set to follow dad into the music business after recording tracks for a new album with her band Lolawolf in between shoots on her new movie The Road Within.
The X-Men: First Class star invited her New York musician pals to join her in Los Angeles to help her wind down after portraying an intense anorexic in front of the film cameras.
Every night, the band would record at least one track in the
Hollywood home studio belonging to her godfather, movie producer
Bruce Cohen.
She tells Nylon magazine, "We'd bring all our stuff to this
beautiful empty house, where we were too scared to touch
anything."
Lolawolf performed their live debut at New York's Mercury Lounge in
November (13) and are now working on releasing a debut album
featuring a reworking of Joe Jackson's Is She Really Going Out With
Him? and original songs Xplode and Drive.
