Lena Dunham directs new video for boyfriend's band

Lena Dunham has stepped behind the camera to direct her boyfriend Jack Antonoff's new music video.

The fun. star asked his girlfriend to come up with a treatment for his band Bleachers' new Lorde collaboration, Don't Take the Money - the first single from the group's new album Gone Now.

In the promo, Antonoff plays a prince about to get married. Arrested Development star Alia Shawkat plays the wedding's officiant.

Ironically, in real life, Antonoff and Dunham, who have been together for five years, are waiting for the right time to wed, and Lena has opened up about her dream for a small, intimate ceremony.

The stars, who have not officially announced an engagement, have decided they don't want a traditional wedding party of bridesmaids and groomsmen, and would prefer to have just Jack's sister Rachel and Lena's sibling Grace in unconventional attire at their nuptials.

"Jack and I have talked about it and we've always said that when we get married, we want our wedding party to just be our two sisters in tuxedos," she told Pridesource.com. "Jack has a straight sister, I have a queer sister; they'd be our best men/women and we'll call it a day. That's our dream."

Jack and Lena originally wanted to wait until same-sex marriage was legal in the U.S., but after it became law in 2015, Lena realized she wasn't quite ready to walk down the aisle.

"The fact is that wanting everyone to have the right to marry and wanting to be married are two very different things," she wrote in an essay for The New Yorker Magazine in July, 2015. "But it turns out that what I was waiting for was not the chance to marry but the chance to think about marriage on an even playing field, in a world where its relevance is a little harder to question and its essence a little harder to reject."
