LeAnn Rimes buys new home at bargain price

Leann Rimes and her actor husband Eddie Cibrian have scored a new mansion just outside Los Angeles for $2.75 million less than the original asking price.

The couple have purchased the Spanish-style home, which was originally listed at $5.75 million, in the exclusive Hidden Hills neighbourhood.

The stars reportedly paid $3 million for the property.

Cibrian and Rimes will be hoping the home offers them a fresh start after a three-year public war of words with the actor's ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who has promised to end her feud with the couple once she has finished promoting her new book Drinking + Tweeting, which details her romance with Cibrian and the break-up of their marriage following his affair with Rimes.
