Tickets for the gig were snapped up as soon as they went on sale in February (11), but devotees struggled to get through to websites to make their purchases and the group soon discovered scalpers had taken advantage of the opportunity to make big bucks by reselling tickets at extortionate prices online.

Now LCD Soundsystem have come up with a plan to share the experience with fans around the world - they have teamed up with music site Pitchfork.com to stream the event online.
