Lance Bass is 'very excited' to start his family

Lance Bass is "very excited" about the prospect of having children with husband Michael Turchin.

The former NSYNC singer wed painter Michael in December, 2014, and became the first same-sex couple to exchange vows on cable television when their nuptials were televised on E!'s Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding.

Almost two years after his wedding, Lance has now set his sights on becoming a father.

"We're definitely going to have our own children," Lance told Billboard.com. "We're going to start that in the next couple of years, which I'm very excited about."

He previously told NBC Out that he and Michael wanted to wait until they were married to start a family, and are also keen to ensure their lives are as stable as possible before welcoming a child into the world.
