Lana Del Rey scraps London show over illness

Singing sensation Lana Del Rey scrapped a show in London on Tuesday night (24Jan12) after falling ill.
The Video Games singer hit the headlines recently after her lacklustre performance on Saturday Night Live sparked an online backlash from unimpressed viewers.
She was set to play the Koko venue in Camden alongside British
rockers The Maccabees, but cancelled her appearance at the last
minute.
A statement from bosses at MTV, who were hosting the night, says,
"Due to illness Lana Del Rey is regrettably not able to perform at
tonight's MTV UK Brand New For 2012 show at London's Koko and sends
her apologies to all her fans."
