Lamar Odom transferred to private facility - report

Lamar Odom has been transferred from a hospital in Los Angeles to a private facility to continue his recovery, according to a report.

The former basketball star was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada in October (15) following a reported drug overdose.

Family spokeswoman Alvina Alston said on Friday (08Jan16) that Lamar was released from the Cedars-Sinai hospital earlier this week (beg04Jan15), but she gave no further details about his condition.

She did reveal that Lamar's family is proud of his "miraculous and continued improvement", according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The former LA Lakers player reportedly suffered several strokes and his organs - specifically his kidneys - were in grave danger of failing during his health crisis.

Now, Lamar is responsive to treatment, and has an increased use of speech and mobility.

His estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has been visiting the sports star, and her sister Kim Kardashian, along with husband Kanye West, have also been spotted at the hospital.
