LADY GAGA GETS TOUR SUPPORT FROM SCISSOR SISTERS

Lady Gaga is heading out on tour next year (11) with the Scissor Sisters after they jumped at the chance to hit the road with their "kindred spirit".

Frontman Jake Shears approached the singer about teaming up after they met at Sir Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball in June (10).

The band and the Poker Face hitmaker had refused to reveal details of the project they would be working on - but now the Scissor Sisters have taken to their official website to announce they will be supporting Gaga on her 2011 trek.

In a message, the group writes, "We Scissor Sisters are thrilled to be a part of Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour 2011. It's a perfect opportunity to join forces with a such a kindred spirit."
