Lady Gaga denies Rihanna collaboration rumors

Lady Gaga has quashed rumors suggesting her forthcoming album Artpop will feature a collaboration with Rihanna.

Earlier this month (Sep13), Rihanna sparked speculation about a high profile pop duet when she told her Twitter followers she had recorded a "monster" new collaboration with one of her favorite artists, but refused to say who it was.

The word 'monster' suggested the artist in question was Lady Gaga as the Applause singer styles herself as 'Mother Monster' and calls her fans 'Little Monsters'.

However, during a phone-in question and answer session with listeners of Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM Lady Gaga put the rumor to rest when a fan asked her about the Rihanna duet.

She replied, "Well, no, that's not true... It's a good rumor. I like Rihanna, so, I mean it's just not true... Rihanna is wonderful and I always like hanging out with her when I see her."
