Kristen Stewart and Adam Driver to be honoured at New York Film Festival

Kristen Stewart and Adam Driver have been named this year's (16) special honourees at the upcoming New York Film Festival.


The two stars will be feted at the annual An Evening With... event, which recognises the work of individuals who have made impressive contributions to films featured at the festival.


Stewart will be honoured for three movies being screened this year (16) - Certain Women, Personal Shopper, and Ang Lee's Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, while Driver will be recognised for his performance in Jim Jarmusch's Paterson


Organisers have also announced the festival will feature the world premiere of the much-anticipated documentary Hamilton's America, which gives an insider's look behind-the-scenes of blockbuster musical Hamilton.


The 54th New York Film Festival runs from 30 September to 30 October (16).
