Kris Humphries fails to show up for mandatory court hearing

Kim Kardashian's estranged husband Kris Humphries is in hot water after failing to show up to the former couple's mandatory divorce hearing in Los Angeles.

The socialite, who is pregnant with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West's baby, has been locked in a bitter legal wrangle with Humphries ever since she filed to end their 72-day marriage in October, 2011, with the sportsman alleging she used their televised nuptials to boost her ratings and earnings.

The former lovers were due to face off in court on Friday (12Apr13) in an attempt to iron out a settlement before their case goes to trial on 6 May (13), but the Brooklyn Nets player, who was last seen in New York in the early hours of the morning on Friday, failed to show, according to TMZ.com.

Kardashian, however, arrived on time for the closed-door conference.
