Kirstie Alley fell hard for John Travolta

Actress Kirstie Alley has confessed she fell so madly in love with John Travolta on the set of 1989 movie Look Who's Talking she had to fight the urge to run off and wed the movie star when she was still married to her second husband Parker Stevenson.

In a revealing new interview with newswoman Barbara Walters, the former Cheers actress admits her former co-star and friend John Travolta was "the greatest love of my life".

The 61 year old says, "Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John. And be with John for the rest of my life."

Kirstie Alley and John Travolta worked together on the Look Who's Talking sequels, but they never became romantic and the actor later wed Kelly Preston, who is one of Kirstie Alley's friends.

Kirstie Alley has also confessed to a major crush on the late Patrick Swayze, but insists she didn't do anything about it because, "I knew how much he loved his wife."
