Kim Kardashian confronted by anti-fur campaigners at book signing
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was targeted by anti-fur campaigners at a book signing in New York City on Tuesday (05May15).
Video footage shows a man and a woman approaching the table in a Barnes & Noble store where Kardashian was signing copies of her new book of 'selfies'.
After unfolding protest posters, the man yells, "I just want to say
you're the most disgusting human being on the planet. Shame on you
for supporting the fur industry!"
Kardashian tries to ignore the comments as the pair, and two other
nearby campaigners, are escorted away by security and continue
yelling, "Shame on you!" as they leave.
More footage taken at the same event shows one man saying to
Kardashian at the table, "It's wrong to wear fur, you need to stop
wearing fur. It's horrible. You're a terrible person," and another
says, "Can you make (the autograph) out to all the animals that
have been tortured and killed for you to wear a fur coat?"
Kardashian and her sisters have been targeted for wearing fur in
the past, and she was even attacked with flour at a red carpet
event in 2012.
