Kid Cudi lands role in Zoe Kravitz film

Rapper Kid Cudi is sharing the screen with singer/actress Zoe Kravitz in her new film Vincent-N-Roxxy.

The Day 'n' Nite hitmaker is adding another acting credit to his resume with a role in the new action crime drama about two rebels, played by Kravitz and Emile Hirsch, who fall apart when their violent pasts catch up with them.

Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, is reportedly set to play a man named Suga, but details of his character have yet to be revealed.

The rapper posted a photo on Twitter.com showing himself alongside Lenny Kravitz's daughter, noting he has wrapped filming with "this special one", referencing the actress.

Cudi has appeared in a few films and TV shows, and is slated to make a cameo in the big screen adaptation of TV hit Entourage.
