Khloe Kardashian's divorce case facing dismissal
Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian will have her divorce petition to officially end her marriage to embattled sportsman Lamar Odom dismissed if she fails to take further action in a Los Angeles court.
Kim Kardashian's younger sister split from fallen basketball star Odom in 2013, after four years of marriage, and she filed legal papers to make the break-up official that December (13).
Odom, who has reportedly been struggling with a substance abuse
problem, has failed to respond to the documents, allowing the
Keeping Up With the Kardashians beauty permission to seek a default
judgement in the case, but she has not done so and now officials
are ready to throw the petition out of court, according to
TMZ.com.
The situation has allegedly caused issues regarding the sale of the
former couple's marital home, which the pair offloaded for $5.5
million more than a year ago, because realtors have no idea who to
hand the money over to.
Kardashian, who is currently in her family's ancestral home of
Armenia, has since moved on from the broken marriage - she has been
dating rapper French Montana on and off since last year (14).
