Kesha credits fan support for comeback track

Kesha has thanked fans for helping her get her through her personal and legal struggles and inspiring her new song Praying.

The pop singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (05Jul17) to announce the upcoming release as a surprise for her devoted supporters, thanking them sticking by her as she fights to free herself from her contract with former mentor and producer Dr. Luke.

"Your support and love and kindness has gotten me through hands down the hardest time of my entire life," she said. "My new song Praying is coming out tomorrow and I couldn't have done this without you. I f**king love you."

The new track is the first song the 30-year-old has released since True Colors, her collaboration with Zedd, last year (16).

Kesha, who is still in the middle of an ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke, has yet to release a follow up to her 2012 debut album Warrior.
