Country singer Kelsea Ballerini is set to take home the Ascap (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Vanguard Award.
The star will receive the honor at the 55th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards on 6 November (17) at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The award is presented to artists who are considered to have made a significant impact on the music industry.
Other musicians who have been given the accolade include Sara Bareilles and The Civil Wars.
During the 55th annual ceremony, Rodney Crowell with be given the organization's Founders Award.
