Kelly Osbourne sorry for Lady Gaga snub
Kelly Osbourne has apologized for her angry response to Lady Gaga's birthday cake peace offering.
The two women have been tangled in a public feud since Osbourne was bullied online by some of Lady Gaga's fans, prompting the Bad Romance singer to pen a message to her former pal in January (13) criticising her part in TV show Fashion Police.
Sharon Osbourne fueled the war of words when she jumped to her
daughter's defense and branded Gaga an attention seeker, but the
two appeared to have settled their differences when The X Factor
judge gave the pop star a standing ovation following her
performance on the U.K. version of the TV talent show on Sunday
(27Oct13),
The singer then presented the rock manager with a cake for her
daughter, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday (27Oct13), but
Kelly spurned the peace offering with an angry tweet, writing, "Not
to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my
MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME
#LoveNotWar EatMyS**t #Hypocrisy."
But Osbourne has now backtracked and apologized for her response,
admitting it was childish and insisting she is eager to end the
feud with Gaga.
She took to Twitter.com on Monday evening (28Oct13) to write,
"@ladygaga I acted like a child last night. Just not into publicity
stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 (to)
fight anymore."
