Kelly Clarkson's panic over lost engagement ring

Pop star Kelly Clarkson flew into a panic on Saturday night (08Jun13) after misplacing her engagement ring.

The former American Idol star, who is set to marry music executive Brandon Blackstock, was performing a set at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee when she suddenly realized she wasn't wearing her custom-made canary yellow diamond.

The bride-to-be apologized to her fiance in a bid to quell any potential rumors the couple's relationship was on the rocks, and Clarkson subsequently blamed her nerves on the mishap.

She told the crowd of 60,000 fans, "This is my first official set at a country... thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!"

After the gig, the Stronger hitmaker scrambled off stage to find the missing memento, but it wasn't until the next morning that she was reunited with the pricey bauble.

Taking to Twitter.com on Sunday (10Jun13), she wrote, "For all of the concerned fans I FOUND MY RINGS!!! Seriously, panicked in my head all night long .....so did Brandon haha!"
