Pop star Kelly Clarkson was afraid her career was over after temporarily losing her voice after giving birth to her daughter.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker and her husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their first child together, River Rose, last June (14), and now Clarkson has revealed panicked when she thought she had lost her voice for good.
She tells ETCanada, "Afterward was the part where I literally had a moment where I cried and drank wine all day. I was like, 'Oh, God, I'm not going to be a singer anymore!'
"I was bawling to my husband and completely hammered, just going, 'Oh, my God, it's over. I don't know what I'm going to do.'"
The temporary voice loss sent Clarkson into a tailspin as she considered her career options.
She continues, "(I thought), 'I guess I could do more charity work'. I didn't know what I was going to do."
