Kelly Clarkson delighted a young fan on the Memorial Day holiday (25May15) by joining her on stage for an impromptu karaoke performance.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker was enjoying dinner at Sam's Sports Grill in Nashville, Tennessee, where locals were also taking part in karaoke night.
When 10-year-old Ava Davis went up to the microphone, she recognised Clarkson in the crowd and boldly asked the pop star to join her.
Clarkson happily agreed and the two sang a version of The B-52's Love Shack.
Davis tells local news station WKRN that Clarkson even autographed a T-shirt as well, and she had nothing but kind words to say about her idol.
Davis says, "I was so thrilled that she said yes. She was very funny, laid back and very kind... It was the coolest thing in my life so far."
