Kelly Clarkson is eager to showcase her songwriting skills further by creating a hit Broadway musical.
The Miss Independent hitmaker has topped the charts and showed off her acting talents on Reba McEntire's TV comedy, Reba, but she's keen to expand her resume with a big stage production.
And Clarkson, 29, has set her sights on the bright lights of New York for her future project.
She tells USA Today, "I think at some point in my 30s, I don't know if I want to do a revival show or something, like bring back Funny Girl, or start a completely-from-scratch musical. That's something I really want to do. I love Broadway."
