Katy Perry was given a taste of the British winter on Wednesday (23Dec09) when her boyfriend Russell Brand treated her to a festive sledging trip in London.

The singer, who grew up in Santa Barbara, California, enjoyed a day out at the British capital's Hampstead Heath where the couple made the most of the wintry weather conditions.

The loved-up pair was photographed squeezing onto a plastic sledge and careering down a hill in the snow.

Perry and Brand completed their festive day by attending a carol service at the city's famous St Paul's Cathedral later that evening.
