Katie Holmes' representative denies Jason Segel dating rumors

A representative for Katie Holmes has denied rumors the actress is dating Jason Segel, insisting the speculation is "completely untrue".

Tom Cruise's ex-wife and the former How I Met Your Mother actor first met when she appeared as a guest star on the sitcom in 2011, and new reports suggest the actors have reconnected and have embarked on a new romance.

However, Holmes' rep Leslie Sloane insists this is not the case, telling Us Weekly, "The story is completely untrue. The two have not spoken since she appeared on How I Met Your Mother."

Holmes was most recently linked to Jamie Foxx, while Segel split from Holmes' Dawson's Creek co-star Michelle Williams in February, 2013 after a year of dating.
