Katherine Heigl thrilled the audience at the Paris premiere of her new movie One For The Money on Tuesday night (31Jan12) by showing off her French-language skills on stage.
The actress is in Europe promoting her latest film and she attended a red carpet screening in France, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans outside the Gaumont Marignan Champs Elysees theatre.
Heigl stepped onstage at the venue to introduce her movie - and stunned the crowd by speaking in French.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Pretty nervous last night trying to speak in French to the audience. Did my best - hope I wasn't really, really bad!"
But her flare for languages impressed the audience, with one crowd member posting on Heigl's website, "Thanks for the speech in French, your French is good!"
